Email Address Internationalisation

EAI (Email Address Internationalisation) allows the use of non-English (non-ASCII) characters in either the domain name (IDNs), the Mailbox (Local Part) name, or both.

This set of RFC standards have been adopted since 2010 and allow people who don’t understand or use non-English scripts (Arabic, Chinese, Cyrillic, Indic, Thai and more) to communicate with email addresses and domain names of their choice.
