The 9th Language and Technology Conference (LTC 2019) published a paper from members of the UASG. The paper explains IDNs, which are domain names in local languages that make it easier for the majority of the world’s population to have an equal opportunity to access the Internet, as well as technical hurdles to adoption and how the academic community worldwide can contribute to improving multilingual access to the Internet.
