The Universal Acceptance Steering Group (UASG) has published a new country-based evaluation of email acceptance rates based upon previous testing of the top 1,000 websites done in 2017 and 2019. You can view the new report (UASG027) here.

The 2017 and 2019 testing surveyed how well the top 1,000 global websites accepted email addresses that were outside of legacy TLDs or that had non-ASCII characters. These evaluations provided an informative global overview of UA readiness, and be viewed here.

The 2020 round of testing was undertaken to ascertain the acceptance rates of email addresses by websites in different countries, and to compare results. To do this, approximately 50 popular websites in 20 different countries were tested.
